A new nova was reported CBET 3136 : 20120608 on 8/06/2012 that had been detected on 22/05/2012.
I took a spectra of it using a LISA spectrograph on 8/06/2012 from Armidale NSW.
A rough estimate of its magnitude from an unfiltered guider image was V= 10.5

Repeat measurement demonstrates that the H alpha line is strengthening.
The shape of the Ha line is also changing.
