"Ten years old and developing a strong tradition of quality performances in a wide variety of styles to accompany and enhance local functions."
The Sapphire concert bands project encompasses two performing groups, the Training Band and the Main Band. The Bands seek to provide an opportunity for all local school students and interested adults to learn a musical instrument, enhance their playing ability, and to contribute musically to the cultural life and flair of Inverell and surrounding areas.

A proactive committee and support from the local community combined with conscientious and dedicated musical directors have allowed these groups of musicians to basically have fun while enriching many lives through music. Providing entertainment to audiences at any local function is a core part of band life.
